Hometown Civitan is a local service club dedicated to making the world a better place starting in our own communities. The Club's focus is helping others, socialization and education. We serve through Knowledge, Service and Fellowship.
Civitan membership empowers members to make a lasting difference through fun local charitable volunteer opportunities, as well as participating in Civitan International projects, for every schedule and level of commitment.
The Hometown Civitan Club accepts membership applications from women who are 18 years of age or older and are residents of Lake, Marion or Sumter counties in Florida. The current annual membership fee is $150; a portion of which goes to Civitan International to support their programs.
The club meets the first Tuesday of the month. Check the web site home page for location and directions.

Members are encouraged to join and support an existing project charity. Members can also identify new project charities for consideration by the Philanthropy Directors and approval by the Board.
Members are able to propose Fundraising Projects.
